Cecil and Juanita Loftin began working and building their family and their farm in the 1950s. They lived their passions for God, family, friends, farming, community, and country. They had two daughters, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. In 2021, Cecil Loftin, at the age of 97, began investigating and experimenting with regenerative agriculture. Unfortunately, his ability to defy aging ended with his passing when he was 98. His wife, Juanita Loftin, followed him in passing six months later at the age of 95. Cecil and Juanita passed on the legacy of their passions to their family and bequeathed their farm to their two daughters and their families, with each daughters’ family beginning their own farm.
One of their daughters, Linda Loftin Robinett and her husband Bernie established Restoring Farms. Starting their farm was the beginning of an awakening for their family to the rich possibilities of raising the highest quality food by utilizing the principles of regenerative agriculture. This awareness dovetailed naturally with their passion for healthy living. In addition to raising healthy food, Linda and Bernie are committed to dramatically improving, rather than depleting, the soil and the overall environment of their farm.
